Full Journal pdf2002-04-30 House Journal Page 3243 HB 271 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the April 29, 2002, calendar (page 3215), was read the third time: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 271(JUD) "An Act relating to recovery of punitive damages resulting from an aviation accident; and providing for an effective date." 2002-04-30 House Journal Page 3244 Representatives Hudson and Kapsner moved and asked unanimous consent that they be allowed to abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest. Objection was heard, and the members were required to vote. The question being: "Shall CSHB 271(JUD) pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 271(JUD) Third Reading Final Passage YEAS: 32 NAYS: 7 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Bunde, Chenault, Coghill, Crawford, Dyson, Fate, Foster, Green, Halcro, Harris, Hayes, Hudson, James, Joule, Kapsner, Kookesh, Kott, Lancaster, Masek, McGuire, Meyer, Morgan, Moses, Mulder, Murkowski, Porter, Rokeberg, Scalzi, Stevens, Whitaker, Williams, Wilson Nays: Berkowitz, Cissna, Croft, Davies, Guess, Kerttula, Kohring Excused: Ogan And so, CSHB 271(JUD) passed the House. Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 271(JUD) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment.
